First Day! High! UPHR-JFSM

All I can say is that this batch is HUGE!
so here are the numbers 60students.
The female species are outnumbered by the Males.
First Impression: Too quiet & serious. :geesh:
At first I was hesitant to go to the first year room. But then again, I had to really had to stay. This time my batch was assigned to 2nd yr room of last year, coz of our population.  Haha! Cool.
I hope i could seat up at front :) for better grasp of lecture. Beside that, I ended up with Dr. Tyrone Cossiep as my facilitator in my Pedagogy class. We started the Pedagogy with new friends, Gela, Marc, Saj, Jim, DK, Billy and Myrone.
Since it was the first meeting with everyone, We started with putting your NAME and labeling of what Medicine would be... i answered:
W-orkaholic
I-nteresting
A-dventure
M-any Exams

After which, we discussed what in aspects of Knowledge, Skills and Attitude we have to obtain being a Physician.

After the Pedagogy, Lunch break. Then off we go to the Auditorium at 3rd floor for the Opening Ceremony, and here all the faculty and students of the Jonelta School of Medicine attended. Scholars of the year were announced and Student Council Officers were elected.  Unexpectedly was appointed as PRO of the Medical Student Council and wallah!! It was pretty funny since Kuya Jay pre-planned it all.
My dear girl MARA got scholarship! which was totally awesome!
We cheered for the professors who were being called.
Dr. Pio Villacorta from the Dept. of Anatomy
and my favorite subject none other than Biochemistry with his GRAND ENTRANCE Dr. Gilbert Capapas had the most welcoming response by the medical students!

And the unforgettable moement, I had an eye of one of my senior batch, and he said "hi" which just made my day! So much more for a first day at Med School <3

So this week is more of adjustment and Im prettery sure next week will be bombarded with exams.
Serious mode is really ON this time!!
Great day! ended with a lot of chit-chat and much of the new clicks in school. wohoo! :)
